Job Description:

We are looking for a Software Engineer in the Ruby Application development team to execute complete software development lifecycle activities. The responsibilities would include supporting application development for the Residential HVAC and Supply products and supporting our sustainability commitments.

Job requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience in development, coding, unit testing, and debugging software.
• Must be comfortable in programming with Ruby
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming
• Familiarity with SQL and RDBMS is desirable
• Familiarity with Linux Operating Systems is desirable
• Familiarity with other programming languages like Python, Golang, Java, etc. is an added advantage
• Familiarity with Google Protocol Buffers is an added advantage
• Experience with Agile Development Practices and Embedded Systems is an added advantage
• Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools and peer review of design & code
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems is an added advantage
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with remote teams located in multiple geographic locations will be an added advantage

Education Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or related fields.
